Introduction

Join our NDC team and help shape the future of airline distribution. We're looking for a Business Analyst who can navigate complexity, connect business and technology, and turn ideas into scalable solutions that make a real impact across the global travel ecosystem.

What are you going to do?

You are the advisory board and driving force between Business and IT. You carry out feasibility studies independently to see whether the advice you have given actually works. As a Business Analyst you discuss, present, defend, challenge, refine, test and implement business requirements. In this position, you are a connecting factor between all kind of stakeholders and teams. Hence, you also have a lot of contact with internal parties, such as Product Owners and API teams and external Partners and our partner airlines. In addition to your strong advice- and analysis oriented skills, you can think in solutions and are capable to see the broader picture.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of gathering, analyzing, and challenging business needs, and translating them into clear functional requirements and solution options;
  • Performing impact and feasibility analyses to determine whether proposed changes are viable from business, process, and system perspectives;
  • Working closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, API teams, and other analysts to prepare changes for delivery;
  • Supporting initiatives related to NDC and airline retailing, including areas such as pricing, ancillaries, payment, order-related processes, and channel capabilities;
  • Writing clear documentation, process descriptions, functional analyses, and acceptance criteria that enable efficient implementation;
  • Contributing to testing activities by validating whether delivered solutions meet business intent and expected outcomes.

Where do you land?

Your position will be in NDC team within Distribution department. Distribution is a joint Air France-KLM department and is part of Commercial organization. You will work together with Business and IT teams located across several locations, including Amsterdam, Paris and Valbonne. You will become part of a team working at the intersection of airline retailing and technology delivery. NDC is at the heart of our next-generation retailing strategy, covering the full offer-to-order lifecycle including pricing, ancillaries and payment.

Your profile

You have a strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a clear interest in technology-enabled business change. You know how to structure ambiguity, ask the right questions, and move from problem statement to workable solution. Taking initiatives in order to improve processes and application? You enjoy and thrive doing so by making use of your hands-on mentality and agile mindset. You are an expert in time management and are flexible and result-oriented.

Additionally, you have:

  • A completed higher education degree in a relevant field, preferably at HBO or WO level, such as Business Administration, Information Management or a comparable discipline;
  • Relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable analytical role in a business and IT environment;
  • Experience within the airline reservation, ticketing, distribution, or travel technology domain;
  • Demonstrated experience or affinity with order management, service orchestration and modern digital distribution architectures;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and coordinating across teams;
