Introduction

How do you ensure IT solutions and operational processes align seamlessly with aircraft component maintenance? As a Business Product Analyst within the Information Management Organization (IMO) at KLM Engineering & Maintenance, you translate the needs of Component Services & Supply Chain into tangible IT solutions and business value. This is how you help continuously optimize processes around logistics, availability, and maintenance.

What are you going to do?

In this role, you bridge the gap between business operations and IT teams within the Component Services & Supply Chain domain. Together with Product Owners, Project Managers, and IT colleagues, you analyze operational processes across Logistics, Availability, and the Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO). Working alongside users, you investigate the root causes of functional issues and define concrete improvements that deliver direct value to daily operations.

 

Further:

  • translate business needs and use cases into clear requirements for product teams;
  • support Product Owners and IT teams with product development, roadmaps, and business cases;
  • guide testing, implementation, change management, and user adoption of new functionalities;
  • safeguard alignment with frameworks around data, authorizations, privacy, cybersecurity, and relevant regulations.

Where do you land?

You will join the Information Management Organization (IMO) within the Component Services & Supply Chain (CS&SC) domain of KLM Engineering & Maintenance, primarily based at Schiphol-Oost. This department focuses on the availability, logistics, and maintenance of aircraft components. In this environment, you work closely with operational colleagues and the IT organization, with SAP playing a central role across daily processes and IT solutions.

Your profile

You move easily between operational interests and IT, deconstructing complex process challenges in a structured way. With an independent, proactive approach, you connect users and IT teams to achieve well-thought-out solutions. You communicate clearly across different levels, always keeping practical feasibility and tangible outcomes in mind.

 

Additionally:

  • you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent working and thinking level;
  • you have relevant work experience in IT, Digital & Data, business analysis, or information management;
  • you have demonstrable experience with SAP;
  • you have experience in analyzing and modeling business processes;
  • you have knowledge of or affinity with logistics, availability, and MRO processes.
