Introduction

Do you want to make a real impact on the quality and documentation of our customer data? As a Data Quality & Documentation Intern, you will help optimize our customer data management processes, which are essential for initiatives such as optimizing our Customer Relations Management tool, online growth, marketing cloud , and AI-enablement. You will be involved in contributing towards drafting of relevant policies, work instructions, and process documentation, and improving our data quality. You work independently and take initiative to drive improvements.

What are you going to do?

At Air France – KLM Cargo, our decentralized Sales organization spans 70 locations worldwide and includes around 170 Sales and Inside Sales Managers. These professionals are dedicated to selling our network and products and becoming reliable advisors for customers in the air cargo industry. To support them, we strive to provide the best possible information, always available and up to date.

As a Data Quality & Documentation Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this objective in a variety of ways. You might help draft and update essential documentation, including policies and work instructions, making internal knowledge accessible to the team. You could support efforts to enhance data quality by conducting checks and helping resolve findings in customer data, or by investigating account segmentation for improvement opportunities.

You may choose to visualize processes through process maps and flowcharts, making our procedures clearer for colleagues around the world. There is also the chance to assist with masterclasses and training sessions on customer data management, helping others grow their expertise. By monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and suggesting improvements, you can help drive our data management processes forward. Regular communication with stakeholders and designing internal surveys to measure and improve user experience are additional ways you can make a meaningful impact.

How you contribute is up to you—take initiative, explore new ideas, and help us ensure our Sales organization has the reliable data and documentation they need to succeed.

Where do you land?

You’ll join the Customer Data Management team at Schiphol East, working alongside experienced colleagues and stakeholders from various departments within the organization. You’ll have the space to work independently on projects, present your ideas, and help build a future-proof data management environment. Our team culture is open, informal, and focused on learning.

Your profile

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Business Administration, Information Management, Digital Business, Process Management or any other related discipline)
  • You are independent, proactive, and take ownership of your tasks.
  • You have strong social skills and can easily connect with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • You are interested in data quality, process optimization, and documentation.
  • You have a solution-oriented mindset and are not afraid to share your ideas.
