What are you going to do?
As an Inventory Analyst Cargo, your primary objective is to maximize each flight's contribution along your assigned routes. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- developing flight strategies and ensuring optimized settings upon opening sales;
- analyzing demand forecasts and adjusting flight parameters, such as overbooking limits;
- managing capacity allocation and adjusting traffic mix to balance origin, destination, and cargo type;
- participating in the seasonal capacity allocation process and supporting budget forecasts;
- monitoring route performance to stay ahead of market dynamics and identify improvement opportunities;
- leading projects to enhance inventory management processes.
You will work alongside a dedicated team of fellow Inventory Analysts and report to a Team Manager within our Revenue Management department.
Where do you land?
Revenue Management at Air France – KLM – Martinair Cargo is a fully integrated department and responsible for optimizing all the cargo capacity in our network, including that of our partners. This is achieved through three disciplines: Capacity Control, Inventory Management and Pricing Management. The Inventory Management department consists of 2 Team Managers and two teams of Revenue Management Analysts. The department is situated in the Transport Building at Schiphol Oost.
Your profile
We are looking for an analytical professional who enjoys diving into data and making strategic decisions. You are ready to face complex challenges and continuously improve route contributions. You find satisfaction not only in day-to-day responsibilities but also in participating in projects that drive improvements across the organization.
You also have:
- a Master's degree OR appropriate professional and intellectual ability (a capacity test is part of the process);
- knowledge of cargo processes and organization is preferred;
- experience with decision-support and data-driven reporting tools;
- proficiency with Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- strong analytical and commercial skills, and fluency in English (spoken and written).
Additionally, your profile is completed with the following competences:

- commercial orientation;
- persuasiveness;
- stress tolerance;
- strong communication skills.
