Introduction

KLM Cityhopper is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Technical Service & Fleet Development department. The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in managing and controlling technical documentation and engineering publications.

What are you going to do?

This position is responsible for overseeing the department’s manuals, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:


1.    Technical Documentation Management

  • Oversee the creation, revision, and distribution of technical documents;
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant personnel;
  • Maintain a structured system for document storage and retrieval.

2.    Engineering Publications Control

  • Manage engineering publications to ensure they meet regulatory and internal requirements;
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate updates and changes promptly;
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all publications.

3.    Manuals, Procedures, and Processes Oversight

  • Develop and maintain departmental manuals, procedures, and processes;
  • Regularly review and update documents to align with industry standards and company policies;
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.

4.    Compliance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Support regular external and internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards;
  • Identify and address non-compliance issues promptly;
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to the Vice President.

5.    Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of compliance measures;
  • Develop yourself as the expert of EASA/IOSA regulations and internal standards;
  • Support the Vice President in strategic planning and decision-making related to compliance.

6.    Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices;
  • Propose and implement improvements to compliance processes;
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department;
  • Manages the Management of Change process.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a compliance role within the aviation industry;
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication;
  • Strong in gathering information and ability to judge;
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and standards;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • Proficiency in document management systems;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A gross salary between €4.252,77 and € 6.075,38  per month;
