What are you going to do?
You will be responsible for procurement activities within the IT Datacenters & Cloud category, which focuses on IT operations related to datacenters, cloud, and cybersecurity. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders and report to the Category Manager for Datacenters & Cloud.
Furthermore:
- You are the IT procurement point of contact for one or more Air France KLM business units;
- You can collaborate effectively on an international level with our colleagues from Air France - KLM, group functions, and suppliers;
- You continuously make the crucial balance between urgency and the best procurement results;
- You execute RFIs (Request for Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposals);
- You negotiate the best deals and draft agreements;
- You maintain relationships with internal customers and suppliers.

Where do you land?
You will be working at our IT organization, in a leading position at Schiphol-Rijk. Within the IT domain, you will have six colleague purchasers. Everyone in the team has a portfolio with their own projects and areas of focus. However, this doesn't mean you will work alone: in addition to your fellow purchasers, you will have frequent and close contact with colleagues from Air France, business staff, and suppliers. Together, you manage a budget of 600 million per year.
Your profile
You have professional experience as an IT buyer of technical software, datacenter hardware and Cloud services. You are a communicative and result-oriented professional and able to effectively switch between different projects and responsibilities. You ensure that the business needs are met.You can collaborate well with all stakeholders. You can lead and influence through your personality, expertise, and communication skills.
Further:
- A relevant bachelor's or master's degree;
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience as an IT buyer
- Good command of both Dutch and English. An experience in large international organization is a plus
- Solid project management skills;
- Knowledge and understanding of the IT Operations supplier market. In this perspective a dual experience as a buyer and IT specialist is a plus
