The Domain Architect’s role includes defining a clear, future-ready architectural vision for the domain and ensuring that all teams within the platform adhere to this unified direction. You will construct and maintain a platform target architecture roadmap, oversee the development of technical capabilities, and identify opportunities for domain growth and maturity. By embedding enterprise architecture principles into the platform’s operational and developmental processes, you will act as a key influencer for both current and future development trajectories.

Key Responsibilities:

Vision and Leadership:
•    Develop, maintain, and execute a strategic vision for the Integral Planning & Control domain, focusing on continuous improvement and domain maturity.
•    Define and advocate for architectural themes, epics, and roadmaps that contribute to the evolution of the domain and ensure alignment with KLM’s broader business objectives.
•    Act as a thought leader and advocate for architectural coherence, driving domain maturity and domain integrity in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Governance and Alignment:
•    Establish governance structures to ensure adherence to architectural principles and ensure domain teams are working towards shared goals.
•    Ensure the alignment of domain architecture with the overarching enterprise architecture and contribute to shaping enterprise-wide principles.
•    Drive decision-making processes, ensuring that architectural decisions align with the enterprise's long-term strategic direction and operational goals.

Capability Development:
•    Oversee and support the development of technical capabilities required for domain maturity, including identifying key technological enablers and critical system components.
•    Facilitate the identification of reusable capabilities and services that can be leveraged across the platform to promote efficiency and reduce redundancy.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and third-party vendors to ensure a well-integrated and forward-thinking domain architecture.
•    Engage with business and technology leaders to define the strategic vision for the domain and build alignment around a shared path forward
