What are you going to do?

As a Competitive Pricing Analyst, known internally as Retail Pricing Analyst, you work closely with the pricing strategy team. You are jointly responsible for the revenue performance of AIRFRANCE KLM as well as our partners DELTA AIR LINES and VIRGIN ATLANTIC. You are mainly responsible for the daily price competitiveness of a specific portfolio. You discover and analyze trends in the market and take action where necessary according to the pricing strategy. In addition, you are responsible for various projects and you contribute to the optimization of internal pricing processes, with the aim of structurally improving ticket revenues.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

  • Retail pricing: ensuring day-to-day price competitiveness by conducting competitive analysis on fares, rules and conditions and taking prompt action if necessary according to the pricing strategy. As well as implementing the long term pricing scheme. 
  • Analyze & report: development of analyses and reports to monitor dynamics and trends of the market and competitions to contribute to the decision making of pricing strategy.
  • Fare distribution: ultimate responsibility for the timely and correct entry and distribution of fares in the reservation systems in order to have competitive fare available at all times.
  • Other tasks/projects in your portfolio related to Retail pricing, aimed at improving the competitive position and adjusting to market dynamics.

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated, commercially minded analyst with an academic background; someone who is eager and learns quickly.

  • You have an energetic personality, you are at the start of your professional career, and you have the ambition to grow within KLM.
  • You are very proficient with Microsoft Excel and you master English language, both orally and in writing.
  • It is important that you can work well in a team and that you understand the organization. You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple cultures.

  • You work well both independently and in a team.
