Introduction
At Air France-KLM, our Digital Finance and Procurement (DF&P) is the strategic knowledge center managing critical financial data and information, acting as the vital bridge between our business users and IT suppliers. We enable data-driven decisions and are continuously optimizing our services for optimal processes and architecture. As a Business Analyst, you'll join our DF&P Data domain team of specialists, focusing on End-2-End process of delivering a data product. This is from data ingestion in a datawarehouse solution to the delivery of the product (report, analytics) requested by the Business. You will play a pivotal role in supporting DF&P's strategic move to the Cloud, contributing to our continuous improvement and shaping your own career path within a dynamic, international environment.
What are you going to do?
As a Business Analyst, you will be the essential link between our Product Owners, Project Managers, and the technical IT teams. Your primary role is to deeply comprehend and translate complex business requirements into meaningful insights and actionable specifications for our IT developers. Equally important, you will translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple terms, ensuring everyone understands and is aligned.
Specifically, you will:
- Collaborate & Define: Work closely with stakeholders to understand the problem, define it, narrow its scope, and then specify the requirements for possible solutions
- Agile Requirements Management: Refine the Epics and User Stories created by the Product Owner, ensuring they meet all Acceptance Criteria. You will meticulously cover every business rule and ensure the functionality of the User Story is proper and complete.
- System Thinking & Interoperability: Proactively think of the interoperability of modules, assessing how new features, updates, and especially Cloud-based solutions, would affect other modules and the overall financial data landscape.
- Documentation & Value: Create comprehensive documentation that lays out how users will interact with a product or service, while also clearly explaining its value and why they need it.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate and analyze the evolving needs of the businesses to find innovative solutions to address their problems and drive continuous improvement.
- Cloud Transformation Support: Actively contribute to the requirements gathering and implementation phases of our strategic move to the Cloud, ensuring business needs are met in the new environment.
- Define and execute UAT: Define and execute test plans and validate if it matches with functional requirements
Where do you land?
You will have the choice to work at the KLM HQ in Amstelveen or Building 102 in Schiphol-Oost. You will be part of a product team within the DF&P Data domain.
