Do you get energy from transforming data into insights? We are looking for a motivated Business Information Analyst to join our team in the Operations & Supply Chain Domain, fortifying and expediting our business transformation efforts.

What are you going to do?

As a Business Information Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Gain thorough understanding of core processes within KLM Component Services, including Logistics, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Repair.
  • Identify needs and clarify requirements to maximize business value utilizing a combination of Dashboards and Decision Support Tools.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data flows, source systems, and data quality issues.
  • Convert business processes into visual data models through diagrams like ERD's.
  • Perform data profiling and data validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets used in reporting and analytics.
  • Assist the Product Owner in prioritizing User Stories by providing transparency on business impact.
  • Translate User Stories into actionable work packages for the development team.
  • Reinforce the fundamentals of our Agile methodology to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, BI developers, and architects to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate training for end-users on newly developed reports and dashboards.
  • Champion and drive the data-driven strategy within the organization.

Where do you land?

You will be joining a transformational organization geared towards facilitating business growth. As part of KLM Engineering & Maintenance's Component Services team, you will contribute to maintaining, repairing, and delivering aircraft components to Air-France-KLM and external clients. Specifically, you will be part of the Transformation, Continuous Improvement, and Data team, where you will be part of the Product Team which is responsible for providing insights across the entire business. This dynamic and expanding team boasts a rich diversity of talents and operates from KLM Engineering & Maintenance situated in Schiphol-East.

Your profile

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Information Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Entrepreneurial with a passion for making a significant impact.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a data-driven mindset to unlock value.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Agile methodology and the SAFe framework.
  • Relationship-building skills, fostering strong connections with stakeholders.
  • Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • A valid EU working permit.

 

Additionally, you should have:

  • A strong interest in logistics and supply chain.
  • Academic educational background: WO Master's degree.
  • The ability and willingness to (learn to) speak Dutch.
  • Experience with data modeling.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • An affinity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement is a plus.

  • A gross salary between €4.252,77 and €6.075,38 per month;
