Hours per week: 32-40

Introduction
Note: For this position, you must already be authorized to work in the Netherlands!
For our Business Platform "Integral Planning & Control" (IP&C) within the "Data & Technology" (D&T) department, we are looking for a Business Process Analyst (BPA) to join our team. As a BPA, you are not just a traditional business analyst, but also the product expert within the team and the tooling. You will work on decision support tooling for the Operations Control department, taking an integrated approach. It is crucial that you identify and establish connections between the various components of the KLM operation to enhance decision-making. You will proactively suggest improvements to further optimize the tools, with the goal of helping to shape the digital future of airline operations.
What are you going to do?
In general, the BPA supports the IT product team in realizing the maximum value potential of the product by ensuring that it is built according to the correct requirements, promoting user adoption, and implementing changes in business processes. The BPA is responsible for analyzing the impact of the product to make it measurable. This is done by visualizing what the future business process should look like after the product is implemented and iteratively adjusting this process design by closely collaborating with (key) users. When a tool is already implemented, the BPA identifies and resolves points of dissatisfaction among users. Because a BPA works so closely with users, they are aware of their needs and pain points, putting them in an excellent position to inspire the organization with opportunities for new products.
Key general result areas for a BPA include:
- Facilitating change in business processes by understanding the current business process.
- Gathering, specifying, and prioritizing user requirements.
- Supporting the Product Owner in prioritizing features by clarifying the expected user value of features.
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing to validate whether user acceptance criteria are met and providing support in Business Process testing.
- Analyzing the impact on the business generated by the product according to predefined KPIs and other business metrics in the product's business case.
- Performing necessary technical configurations to adapt a (vendor) application to user requirements.
- Promoting user adoption by uncovering user requirements, including organizing product workshops, explanation sessions, etc.
- Supporting others in the product team by taking over certain tasks from them.
- Ensuring proper data management.
Where do you land?

This vacancy is within the Business Platform IP&C.
IP&C is responsible for developing a flexible flight planning system that allows us to fly where and when there is demand, while balancing load factor and reliability, fulfilling our network promises, and reducing non-performance costs. Our advanced platform supports the business departments Network & Planning, Operations Control, and Hub Control with IT tooling to develop a robust yet flexible flight schedule and optimize and monitor daily operations and disruptions. As a culturally diverse platform with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, we strive for sustainable growth and success.
