The Cyber Threat Analyst will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and mitigating cyber threats that could impact our organization and create operational, tactical and at times strategic intelligence. This role involves working closely with other security professionals to develop and implement effective defense strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cyber threats, advanced investigative skills and experience in threat intelligence operations.

What are you going to do?

Threat Intelligence Analysis:

  • Participate in daily monitoring activities using a variety of sources, including commercial feeds and OSINT;
  • Track, document, and report on threat actors, their TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), IOCs (Indicators of Compromise), and infrastructure;
  • Customize queries and monitoring capabilities based on intelligence analysis;
  • Conduct in-depth investigations using OSINT techniques;
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and industry forums to share threat intelligence;
  • Participate in information sharing communities;
  • Respond to internal RFIs (Requests for Information).
     

Tool and Process Management:

  • Manage and optimize threat intelligence platforms and tools;
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools to enhance threat intelligence capabilities;
  • Evaluate and introduce innovative solutions to ensure a valuable intelligence position.

 

Where do you land?

You will land within the intelligence team of KLM Security Services, a fascinating multidisciplinary department at the services of KLMers and the passengers. You will be able to work from home 2 days a week. On office days, you will be at the heart of the operations, at the Operations Control Center (OCC), at Schiphol Oost.

Your profile

 

  • You are quick to identify patterns and gaps that can be further investigated;
  • You enjoy diving into a set of data and large amount of information ;
  • When faced with obstacles, you find creative solutions to get to results;
  • You enjoy finding ways to optimize processes;
  • You bring 3 years of experience in cybersecurity (CTI is a plus) or have a relevant diploma;
  • You are skilled and passionate about OSINT;
  • You have knowledge and experience of different CTI platforms and providers;
  • You are comfortable writing and speaking Dutch and English.

  • A gross salary between €3.712,92 and €5.304,17 per month;
