This may include developing new maintenance strategies, implementing new technologies, and conducting data analysis. What are you going to do?
The aviation industry is rapidly changing, which also affects the internship assignments. Below are some potential internship assignments. Are you interested? We'd love to see which assignment suits you best.
Currently, we have the following assignments available:

Configuration management for 747 components for migration to maintenance tracking system: aims to enable the ordering of 747 components and materials in Maintenix. This is while supporting the migration process for transferring current Crocos data to SAP, through steps such as checking and adjusting configuration and material statuses in Crocos and Maintenix.

(Graduation) Internship research on APU component reliability: involves structuring, understanding, and analyzing various data sources to gain insights into failure causes of APU components and providing recommendations for improving their reliability.

Phase-in process of A350 and FDR analysis setup: involves implementing the A350 and setting up the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) analysis.

Setup of new FDR analysis for KLM fleet in a new tool ERGOSS/SARA (depending on decision-making): involves implementing a new tool for the FDR analysis.

Developing a bracket/alignment tool for the 777 EFB (fixed) installation: involves developing a tool for the installation of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) on the Boeing 777.

Cabin Engineering: The problem of discoloring lighting in aircraft can be addressed by either planned replacement of TL lamps and lenses or by investing in LED lighting with new lenses, where a business case must be developed. And for Engineering Aircraft Phase Out: Developing a calculation model to map out the phase-out of aircraft, focusing on required resources, bottlenecks, and the ability to easily analyze planning changes and "what-if" scenarios. (Note: this is one internship assignment.)
