Do you want to help put the Data, Transformation & Continuous Improvement (DTCI) department within Component Services (CS) on the map? This department is responsible for executing all change and transformation initiatives within CS. Internal communication is essential to making this a success. Are you excited by supporting projects, coming up with creative communication ideas, and working to align CS employees? Then this may be the internship for you.
What are you going to do?
You will come up with ways to draw attention to the various projects the DTCI team is working on within CS and keep internal stakeholders aligned and informed. Secondly, you will support the team on large transformation projects they are working on. No two days will be the same!
Your tasks will include:
Internal Communication:

Setting up and maintaining internal communication for the DTCI team by writin texts for the internal newsletter;

Creating content, such as videos and visuals to showcase projects and achievements;

Managing internal info screens and displays;
-
Adding to onboarding modules and supporting the onboarding period of new colleagues;

Assisting in organizing internal team meetings and events.
Project Support:

Coordinating weekly project and program updates for the CS management team - this includes scheduling regular updates, managing the calendar invites, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities;

Assisting in monthly strategy progress reviews – gathering input from across the business and preparing presentation materials;

Providing support for broader transformation initiatives.
Where do you land?
You will land at Schiphol-East, in Hangar 14 to be precise. This is one of the two locations of Component Services, which is part of KLM Engineering & Maintenance (KLM E&M), KLM’s maintenance division. Together with Air France Industries (AFI), KLM E&M is a leading player in the global aircraft maintenance industry. In addition to maintaining the KLM and Air France fleet, KLM E&M and AFI service the aircraft, engines, and components of around 200 customers worldwide. You will work at Component Services, the unit responsible for maintaining components and ensuring component availability for both Air France KLM and external clients.
Your profile
A WO-Bachelor or master students who are passionate about communications and project management. You are proactive and not afraid to make mistakes. Further, you are strong in communication, and not afraid to share your opnion and advice. Examples of relevant fields of studies are business administration, communication, marketing. This is a working internship.
You are:

Able to work independently but enjoy collaborating in a team setting

A self-starter with a strong personality who likes new challenges

A natural writer, and you enjoy making vlogs and/or videos

Organised and have great time-management abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

A Dutch speaker. This is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.

You are registered in a Dutch educational institution during the entire internship period

You are available from September 1st for 4-5 days a week, for a period for at least 5-6 months.
