You're not only an Agile facilitator and coach; you're also the versatile Swiss Army knife of our teams and a strategic sparring partner for platform management. Your confidence, adaptability, and versatility ensure that our cross-functional teams are aligned, empowered, and continuously improving. You oversee cross-team dynamics, support other Scrum Masters, and drive platform-wide improvements. Your contribution will be crucial in helping KLM remain one of the safest airlines in the world.

What are you going to do?

In short, you will be the champion of Agile, leading the way in facilitating Agile ceremonies and processes. You will use your coaching skills to ensure that team members are aligned with Agile principles and empowered to continuously improve. You'll maximize collaboration between cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and business owners, ensuring our teams deliver the best solutions in the most efficient way.

 

Additionally:
 
  • You'll serve as the team's Swiss Army knife, stepping in where needed, whether it's removing obstacles, providing hands-on problem-solving, or acting as a proactive sparring partner for your product owner.
  • You'll coach other Scrum Masters and take an active role in the Scrum Master community.
  • You'll ensure transparency and visibility into the progress and performance of the team and the platform through Agile reporting tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • You'll collaborate with product owners to create focus and ensure that deliverables are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with our business needs.
  • You'll foster and facilitate a culture of continuous learning and innovation within and across teams.
  • You'll also challenge business and management on behaviors and processes that are not aligned with Agile values and principles. You organize collaboration across teams and take initiative in platform-wide Agile initiatives.

Your profile

You are an experienced Agile professional who enjoys coaching and facilitating. You are a confident, flexible problem-solver with effective communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with team members, our business, and the management team. You have in-depth knowledge of Agile and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean and a proven track record of successfully guiding Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You are able to drive platform- and organization-wide improvements and support fellow Scrum Masters in their development.
 
In addition, you have:
 
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree. Scrum/SAFe or equivalent certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach/Green Belt.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools.
  • Experience with Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus.
  • Experience in facilitating platform-wide collaboration and impediment resolution.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and PRINCE2 is a plus.
