What are you going to do?

 

As a Project Manager (Product Owner), you are the key to the success of complex IT projects. You lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure that objectives are met within time, budget, and quality constraints. You are responsible for planning, risk analysis, and quality management, and you adjust where necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for:

· Preparing and executing the project plan, including timelines, costs, and risks.

· Functionally leading the project team and ensuring an effective role and task distribution within the team.

· Delivering the desired solutions within the agreed budget and timeframes.

· Reporting progress to management and advising on potential risks.

· Identifying risks and developing mitigation plans to achieve project goals.

· Defining a product vision and roadmap that achieves the desired business outcomes and is embraced by all stakeholders.

· Managing the product backlog and prioritizing tasks based on business value.

Where do you land?

 

You will join a dynamic and international team within the IT department at KLM, based at our headquarters in Schiphol-Rijk. You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, suppliers, and business partners, to successfully complete your projects.

Your profile

 

You have extensive experience in project management and the ability to lead complex projects with a sharp focus on results. You can quickly switch between different parts of a project and pay attention to both the details and the bigger picture. You know how to prioritize and communicate clearly with all stakeholders. Additionally, you have:

· A Master's degree, preferably in business administration or an ICT-related field.

· At least 5 years of experience in project management, ideally in IT environments.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, SCRUM, and ITIL.

· Experience managing large, complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.

· Fluency in both spoken and written Dutch and English.

· A natural ability to motivate and lead others.

· Experience defining product strategies and roadmaps.

· Skill in managing product backlogs and prioritizing tasks based on business value.
