What are you going to do?
In your new job as Data Management Consultant, you will play a part in Transavia’s investment in its data management capabilities. You’ll ensure that data is used efficiently, consistently, and responsibly to support decision-making. You’ll collaborate with various departments to ensure complete documentation, clear agreements on usage and definitions, and solid data ownership practices.
And there’s more to look forward to, like:
- Develop and execute trainings and learning paths for colleagues within Transavia, educating and empowering them to take ownership of data products within their domain;
- Develop expertise in our data management tooling (data.world) and ensure its adoption within the wider organization;
- Foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and serve as the linking pin between DMO, business, IT, and data professionals;
- Help Transavia reach the next level of data maturity.
Where do you land?
You will land in the Strategy, Data & Intelligence (SDI) department. Within this department, we serve as a vital link between business and analytics, guiding Transavia toward a more data-driven culture. We lead the transformation to data-driven operations, advise departments using information and insights, and develop data and AI solutions for Transavia's customers and employees.
At SDI, we create large strategic models that support our business objectives. Your role will focus on data management to ensure Transavia’s data is reliable, compliant, and AI-ready. Within SDI, you’ll be part of the Data Management Office (DMO), which supports Transavia in developing data management capabilities and making our data products accessible, understandable, and reliable.
Your profile
As a Data Management Consultant, you bring:
- A completed bachelor's or master’s degree;
- At least 3 years of experience in data management, data analytics, or a related field;
- Understanding of data management principles, frameworks, and metadata management, along with experience analyzing and improving data quality;
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in English;
- Bonus points for experience with change management, data management and analytics tools, and knowledge of data security, privacy, and legal requirements;
- A mindset that embraces diversity;
- Enthusiasm for change, collaboration, and achieving results.
We offer
- Gross monthly salary between €4.083,- and €6.902,-;
- 8% holiday allowance and an 8.33% year-end bonus;
- Travel allowance;
- Personal budget of €700,- for vitality-related expenses, such as a gym membership, bicycle, or home office equipment;
