Introduction

We are looking for you as an Integration Engineer at Transavia

Imagine this: An IT job in aviation where you're at the heart of ground operations. Can you ensure that our ground processes and the handling of our aircrafts are carried out optimally? Or perhaps, thanks to you, data can be digitally shared within ground operations with nearly 150 different airports in 40 different countries? If so, we are looking for you as an Integration Engineer at Transavia.

What are you going to do?

As an Integration Engineer, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team, working together to develop, optimize, and maintain Transavia's TIBCO Integration Platform. You specialize in the development and maintenance of TIBCO integration platforms and possess deep knowledge of enterprise application integration.

More specifically

  • You work according to Agile principles and continuously optimize integration processes and technologies;
  • You develop and manage TIBCO solutions (adapters, services) that integrate systems from various suppliers to support our business processes;
  • Together with the team, you are responsible for designing, installing, configuring, documenting, (automated) testing, deploying, and maintaining the platform and its components;
  • You train and mentor other team members in the use of TIBCO technologies;
  • You advise the Product Owner and clients on the optimal configuration of applications and are aware of the roadmap;
  • Together with the architect, you propose improvements to the IT system in the areas of innovation, lifecycle management, security, and IT infrastructure;
  • You are part of the on-call service for business-critical systems.

Where do you land?

You will join the Airport Team, which supports our Ground Services colleagues with digital solutions. The specialists in this team work on digital solutions for the airports where Transavia operates. Examples of IT solutions include the GS Portal (a (PEGA) information hub for our airport partners such as caterers, cleaners, etc.), GoNow (the departure control system that handles passenger check-ins), and various self-service solutions for our passengers and suppliers. You'll work with self-organizing DevOps/Scrum teams, alongside the IT Area Lead, Product Owner, Domain Architect, and Scrum Master/Agile Coach.
