What are you going to do?

In your new role as an Operations Research Specialist, you’ll work in the Scenario Factory team on strategic optimization projects for network, crew, and maintenance planning. You will develop and maintain OR models in AIMMS and guide solutions in partnership with the business from design to launch. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our transition to a data-driven organization within the Network and Resource Planning (NRP) domain.

  • Optimizing schedules for network, crew, and maintenance planning;
  • Collaborating with the business from design through to implementation;

Where do you land?

You will land within the Strategy, Data & Intelligence (SDI) department. In this department, we serve as an essential link between business and analytics, guiding Transavia towards a more data-driven culture. We lead the transformation to data-driven operations, advise departments using information and insights, and develop data and AI solutions for Transavia’s customers and employees. Within SDI, we develop large strategic models that contribute to our business goals. Our Operations Research (OR) projects focus on optimizing planning in the areas of network, crew, and maintenance. 

Your profile

As a Operations Research Specialist, you bring:

  • A completed Master’s degree in Econometrics or Mathematics;
  • At least 3 years of work experience and knowledge in Operations Research;
  • Experience with AIMMS and Python;
  • A team-oriented attitude but also able to work independently;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • You are energized by change, collaboration, and achieving results;
  • Knowledge of ML models and the agile methodology is a plus.

 

We offer

  • Gross monthly salary between €3.866,- en €6.536,-;
  • 8% holiday pay and an 8.33% year-end bonus;
  • Travel allowance;
  • Personal budget of €700 to support your well-being, which you can use for a gym membership, bike, or home office equipment;
  • 26 vacation days.
